Commonly installed in hospital theatres, radiology departments, and A&E units, these cabinets maintain a stable preset temperature of 37°C—ensuring intravenous contrast media is warmed precisely to body temperature for enhanced patient comfort and care.

Genlab’s innovative fanless heating system delivers superior temperature uniformity, a feature typically found only in fan-assisted models. The result is quiet, effi­cient performance—perfect for clinical environments where reliability and low noise are essential.

The intuitive digital touch-screen interface provides accurate temperature control and displays real-time temperature trends over a 48-hour period at the touch of a button. Optional export features allow you to download performance and energy usage data directly to your computer for easy monitoring and record-keeping.

Being well insulated, these cabinets are extremely energy e­fficient - using just 0.3kW energy per day to maintain a steady 37°C.

Design

Each cabinet is specifically designed for 24/7 use.

• Exterior: Durable sheet steel ‑finished in an easy-clean powder-coated paint for a hygienic and professional appearance.

• Interior: Constructed from 304-grade stainless steel, featuring fixed shelf runners and removable stainless steel perforated shelves for convenient cleaning and organization.

Heating

The units are heated using low-watt density heating pads, mounted externally to the chamber. This design eliminates moving parts and internal heat sources, ensuring consistent, gentle heating and long-term reliability.

Controls

The advanced control system includes:

• Dual PT100 Class A sensors for accurate temperature monitoring and overheat protection

• Preset operating temperature of 37°C with safety overheat limits at 40°C

• Manual or automatic reset options

• 48-hour temperature trending display and optional export upgrades are available for external recording keeping.

All units have 304 stainless steel interior with internal viewing window as standard. Where options are required, simply add the option code to the original reference.
