The nearly new range of units are usually ex-demonstration models or units that may have some slight imperfection, often imperceptible to the naked eye.
In most cases they have never been used and are truly “good as new”.


PEACE OF MIND

Buying second-hand or nearly new units can often cause concern to customers who want the value and reliability that purchasing a new model will give them.

At Genlab we ensure those concerns are answered, such as:

Are the units checked?
YES - All units are thoroughly checked and tested at Genlab’s service centre, prior to despatch

Can the units be modified to meet our exact requirements?
YES - Many of the units can be modified to meet customers requirements, such as specific controllers, timers and loading systems.

Is there a guarantee?
YES - Following their check and test, all necessary component parts are replaced or refurbished and all units carry a minimum of 6 months warranty, or the remainder of the manufacturers guarantee, whichever is greater.
In some cases, such as the ex-demonstration models or slightly marked units, this represents the full two year warranty.

What happens after the unit is purchased?
Genlab offer various after sales services to help maintain the unit, including routine on-site service, calibrations and repairs.
Also available are long term maintenance contracts and extended warranties.
